The first six months of 2019 kept RealWorld busy developing “Missinippi Air”, an exciting new doc series that takes you inside the world of Manitoba’s only Indigenous owned airline as they mount life-saving air ambulance and rescue missions across northern Canada. Slated for TV production in 2020, every episode is designed to let you buckle up beside Missinippi’s young female pilots to see how they’re breaking industry barriers and shaping the future of aviation in Canada’s north. Featuring a real life cast of Missinippi managers, technicians, pilots and grounds crew, Missinippi Air lets you experience what reconciliation looks like as this amazing team of Indigenous and non-Indigenous aviators team up to mount medivac missions through some of the most challenging flying conditions in the world.
