Thirteen episodes in each exciting season of Northern Air Rescue take you inside the operations of northern Manitoba’s Missinippi Airways, this provinces only 100% Indigenous owned airline. Every half hour story shows how this close knit team of Indigenous and non-Indigenous pilots, dispatchers and grounds crew mount life saving emergency medical evacuations in some of the most challenging flying conditions in the world. Our cameras focus on a core group of young Indigenous pilots who’s courage and expertise is inspiring the future of Indigenous aviation.
